Who runs in-meet and how to complain
in-meet is run by Santosh Kumar, an individual. I am also the Grievance Officer. To complain, or to ask about your data, write to [email protected]. I answer every complaint within 24 hours and aim to fix it within 15 days, and always within the time the law sets. Where a court or government order requires action, I act within the time it gives.
To report abuse or a copyright problem, use the same email. Send the page link and say what is wrong.
What in-meet shows
Company records come from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs company master data on data.gov.in (RoC-wise). Licence: Government Open Data License - India. No government endorsement. A record is a registry entry. It does not mean the company is hiring. Role matches use only job postings that were checked on the employer's official site, by role title (related roles included, level words such as Senior or Junior ignored), across India. Coverage is limited. Confirm availability and eligibility on the employer's page.
What stays on your device
Your role preferences, saved and followed companies and reminder plans stay in this browser. Right now in-meet keeps this on your device only. By default they are gone when you close or reload the page. If you turn on Remember in Privacy, they are kept in this browser's local storage until you reset or clear browser data. Anyone using the same browser profile may see them, so keep Remember off on a shared device.
Reset in Privacy clears this app's data from this browser. A QR transfer or a locked backup file copies your lists to another device you choose. Copies you share or download must be removed separately. We cannot erase another person's copies.
No application or resume is sent to an employer from this site. There are no background alerts. Reminders are plans you download for your own calendar.
What is sent to our server
Correction reports: if you report a wrong detail on a company record, the report text, your optional reply email and an optional proof document (PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 5 MB) are sent to our server and by email to Santosh, the site owner. You must agree before sending. A report is not an automatic change to MCA data. Do not include identity documents or sensitive details. Deleting things from your browser does not delete a report you submitted. The proof file and your reply email are deleted 30 days after I receive the report. The report text about the company record stays as a correction history, so do not put personal details in it.
Employer openings: an employer can submit an official job link for a company in the registry. We receive the opening details, the work email you give, and one company document as evidence. We email a verification code to that work email. A code confirms access to that mailbox only, not that the company employs you or that the document is genuine. Free-mail addresses are refused. Every opening is reviewed by the site owner and nothing is published automatically. Company documents are deleted within 30 days after our review decision. Listing details stay while the opening is live.
Mail me when found: if you ask us to mail you when a checked opening for your role is found, we store your email, the role, the optional city and experience level, and the time you asked. We send one confirmation mail first and nothing else until you tap the link. You must agree before sending. We then send one mail when a checked opening is found, or one mail after 3 working days if none was found. Every mail has an unsubscribe link that removes your email at once. Your email is deleted after that mail, or after 90 days, or if you do not confirm within 3 days. Your email is never shown to employers.
Hosting and access providers may process technical connection records under their own terms.
Visit counts
in-meet counts page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and uses no tracking IDs. It is skipped if your browser sends Do Not Track. I use no other trackers.
Terms of use
For people aged 18 and over, India-focused. The correction form and the employer form ask you to confirm you are 18 or older. No promise of employment, eligibility, availability or copyright clearance. Registry data may be out of date or wrong. Do not use this preview for decisions about real people.
What you may not send
Do not send anything that belongs to someone else without their permission, including copyrighted material. Do not send anything false or misleading, or that pretends to be another person or company. Do not send anything defamatory, obscene, hateful, threatening or harassing, anything that harms children, anything that promotes violence or breaks a law in India, or anyone else's private information. Do not send files with viruses or try to break the site. I can refuse or delete such a submission and tell the sender why.
If personal data is lost or exposed
If personal data I hold is lost or exposed, I will tell the people affected and the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.
